The countdown is on for a very special Great Yorkshire Show this year which will run over four days! Exhibiting a selection of Yorkshire’s finest established artists, The Great Yorkshire Show, Art Show in Harrogate will showcase the diverse talents of fourteen Artists inspired by the beauty of the county. The exhibition will showcase gestural paintings, striking sculptures and beautiful ceramics. New Art Gallery Walsall - Twenty Twenty Collection

Big news! My painting has been acquired by the New Art Gallery Walsall as part of their Twenty Twenty Collection.
Following an open call, which received 220 submissions, The New Art Gallery Walsall has acquired 33 works by 31 West Midlands-based artists, to create the new Twenty Twenty Collection. This closed, capsule collection represents the significant events of the past 12 months, and commemorates this important historical moment which has impacted on everyone’s lives.
The chosen artists’ work will be profiled on the Gallery’s website and social media channels during this year, and be exhibited at the Gallery in a dedicated exhibition in our Community Gallery in early 2022

The RBSA stages an annual prize exhibition as part of its charitable work to support artists, providing an opportunity for artists to show their artwork and be rewarded for their talents. One of the RBSA’s most prominent exhibitions of the year, the Prize Exhibition aims to reduce some of the common barriers to exhibiting such as limited budgets and time. Artists in Isolation: How to make a virtual gallery
RBSA Blog: Lucy Morrison is a Birmingham based artist who captures the diverse landscapes of the UK in expressive oil paintings and has entered work in RBSA open submissions several times. In the same week that the UK began a national lockdown, Lucy was due to exhibit but was faced with a cancellation instead, like many artists.
Compelled to create a space for people to interact with her work from the safety of their homes, Lucy made a virtual gallery online.
